Heartfire

Hello Everyone,

There's been so much activity around Sew'n Wild Oaks with quilt shows, lectures and workshops and now THIS!  Marcus Fabrics created a beautiful display in their booth at Quilt Market in Minneapolis, and included Heartfire.

Keepsake Quilting saw the quilt, liked it, and took it back with them to New Hampshire for a photo shoot.

Why???  Because it is going to be included in their Fall/Holiday Catalog!

This is the quilt that Gail and I worked on together at the cabin.  It all began with the Hint of Print by Marcus Fabrics.

This was our sweat shop.

The pile of blocks began to grow by the hour.

Thank you to Marcus Fabrics for sending me the gorgeous fabric line.  Thank you to Keepsake for including it in your catalog.  Thank you to Gail for helping, and making the quilting dream continue.

Soon,
Lynn

  3. Congrats - that is really awesome! I saw it at Market, and just love it. Now do you feel at all guilty for only allowing Gail a half of a cookie?

  8. Wow, I didn't realize that Keepsake would be taking the quilt for a photo shoot to boot! I am reminded of all those months ago when Alex Anderson asked you if you were ready for the ride you were about to embark on & I have a feeling that this is just a hint of things to come. And I gotta say again...the quilting in that border is absolutely gorgeous!
